In yet another turn in the twisted tale of Global Warming, NASA scientists analyzing core samples of ancient glacial ice from Antarctica have uncovered incontrovertible evidence that global warming is caused by excessive computer use!

But...Not to worry!

Because..... A move is now underway in Congress to put an end to this pernicious planet-poisoning practice by mandating the insertion of greenhouse-gas emission detectors in (a place where the sun doesn't shine) of all users of any electronic device that is in anyway connected to the World Wide Web!

Proponents of the pending legislation hail it as a powerful new tool in the Federal Government's ongoing struggle to control the amount of time spent farting around on the Internet by potential terrorists.

Civil libertarians and other concerned critics are quick to note however that the current legislation exempts both branches of Congress. They claim that such an exemption defeats the true intent of the bill since Congress itself is far and away the nation's largest producer of gaseous emissions!
