• As you may or may not know, Astronomy is one of my favorite alternative pursuits!
• Now, I don't know if any of you are interested in astronomy enough to follow off-planet events or not, but every once in a while something so bemusing comes along from the fine folks at publically supported NASA that it bears a taxing editorial comment.
• This is one of them!....And, so...what is....(in case you are afraid to ask)...the comment?
• There is Water on Mars!.. uh..."THIS IS NEWS?.....
• Yup!.... Gotta love the way the mainstream controllers handle the sheeple when it comes to declassifying top secret truths that are widely held as common knowledge!
• It's as if the lemmings were going to stampede or something? As if the walls of the Vatican were going to come tumbling down? As if the fundamentalists would suffer an instant ...myocardial infarction?
• It's as if Homer Simpson would quit drinking beer?
• OK, OK...Let's give credit where credit is due...I suppose that we should find it refreshing that they are finally putting out a "floater" with a whiff of the truth to it, right? (This is scary, in and of itself!)
• So...Here goes......(Deep breath) .....Thank you NASA!.....I am truly grateful for being thrown a 100 year old tidbit from Percival Lowell's table! and...It's about bloody time! (He muttered, ungratefully)
• However, I feel obliged to qualify my gratefuly undying gratitude with a slightly ungrateful caveat.....in view of past NASA performances, (Certain classes of "truths" as a last resort only) it's a safe bet that something big may be up with the space agency you love to hate!
• In my grateful opinion...Here's the REAL news contained in this Mars press release......
• Time to read between the lines my friends! NASA has finally found themselves caught between some kind of a floating space rock and a stationary hard spot. (Thank you European Space Program!)
• So..... Stay tuned for further incoming sideways "floaters" from the verity-volks at NASA.
• Meanwhile... Those of us in the amateur astronomy community can only shake our heads in amazement. What a crazy and fraying intellectual certitude we all currently live in, eh?
• Is it too late to NOT take a look, Galileo? After 500 years of peering myopically through your metal and glass tube must we finally recant and acknowledge the looming reality of a brave new world?...One where humans co-inhabit a completely new and revolutionary mental universe?
• Shucks.....Just when we thought for sure that the orange-filtered artificial skies of Mars were going to go on forever! LOL!
